Let's face it, this year my updates have been getting less and less. I just can't get my head into it at all. I have got a room full of crafty bits and bobs I have collected from various Hobbycraft visits or ebay purchases but I just do not know what to do with them. I have really landed myself in a bottomless pit of uncreativity.
I used to overcome the mental blocks because I knew I had to for my blog's sake, but now, after a year I have become so blaze with it all. Nothing really inspires me anymore.
I think it is because I dont have a 'thing'. I flit from one craft to the other, making random things, meaning I have to come up with brand new ideas every time.
What do you do in your times of woe? Where do you go to find your motivation and inspiration?

Hazel, i too feel like you at the moment.My craft room is full of alsorts, i have stacks of crafty bits,but somedays i just sit and look at it all,hoping i have some inspiration, most of the time i just get up and walk away lol. I hope my crafty mojo comes back soon, i hope yours does too.xx
ReplyDeleteOh no it's awful when that happens. I keep a notebook with me always and I add ideas to it all the time. I'm also a craft magazine and book freak and if I finish a project and can't think of another I get a post it note and my mags and by the time I'm finished I'm brimming with things I want to make.

Or maybe you just need a break, read some more go walking, it will come.
