Japanese Felt Mascots

Isn't it just terrible that we crafters buy items, materials and even books and can quite often never use or never return to them again. One of the first things I bought when kitting myself for crafting was this Japanese Felt Mascot book.

I used it once and never used it again. Looking at my original post it seems that was 2 years ago this month I last used it! Well lo and behold I came across it the other day and thought what the heck, lets get some more usage out of this book. My best friend has a thing for owls at the minute, and it was her son's first birthday the other day, so I made her the cute owl from this book. I glued on a magnet to its back and sneakily stuck it on her fridge. She knew it from was me instantly!

 

I think during May we should all craft with something we haven't used / only used once and try and get through that stash we all have hidden away. Then we can guilt free buy more things in June :D
